General Provisions on Accreditation Fees
Accreditation fees vary depending on several factors, including the type of accreditation, scope of accreditation, duration of the assessment, and the location of the applicant. The following are common types of fees:
1. Initial assessment fee
- Includes application fee, document review fee, organization competency assessment fee, annual fee, travel/logistics expenses of the assessment team, etc.
2. Surveillance Assessment Fee
- After being accredited, organizations are required to undergo periodic surveillance assessments (typically once per year).
3. Extended Assessment Fee (if applicable)
- If an organization seeks to expand its scope of accreditation (e.g., adding new fields or testing methods), an additional assessment fee for scope extension will be paid.
4. Re-assessment Fee
- Organizations applying for reaccreditation after an accreditation cycle shall pay the corresponding re-assessment fees.
5. Follow-up Assessment Fee
This applies in cases where an accredited organization undergoes changes related to its scope of accreditation, such as:
- Changes in legal or governing entities;
- Relocation of operational facilities;
- Modifications to measurement range/quantitative limits, or updates to methods within the accredited scope;
- Any changes that may affect the organization’s competence within its accredited scope;
- Assessments arising from complaints, requirements of regulatory authorities, or requests from international accreditation organizations in which the National Accreditation Bureau (BoA) is a member.

*During the accreditation application process, organizations are required to pay certain fees. These may include:
- Application fee: When an organization applies for initial assessment/re-assessment/extended assessment, it shall pay an application fee.
- Annual fee: Accredited organization shall pay an annual fee to maintain its accreditation status. This covers participation in mutual recognition arrangements, public disclosure of information, and other accreditation-related expenses not included in manday rates.
- On-site assessment fee: An organization shall pay on-site assessment fee when the assessment team conducts assessment directly at its premises.
