BUREAU OF ACCREDITATION AWARDS ISO 15189:2022 ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEMATOLOGY – MICROBIOLOGY, K HOSPITAL

Representing K Hospital were Prof. Dr. Le Van Quang – Director of the K Hospital, Dr. Le Phuong Anh, Specialist Level II Doctor – Head of the Department of Hematology – Microbiology, and the hospital’s leadership and staff from various departments. Representing the Bureau of Accreditation were Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Director, and several officials, who attended to offer their congratulations.

In October 2024, the Bureau of Accreditation conducted an assessment of the Department’s quality management system to ensure that the laboratory meets all requirements on technical competence and quality management system in accordance with the ISO 15189:2022 standard. Obtaining this certificate demonstrates the Department of Hematology – Microbiology’s continuous efforts to develop, implement, and improve its quality management system, meeting the accreditation standards for laboratories.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Le Van Quang – Director of the K Hospital – emphasized that the ISO 15189:2022 accreditation is a well-deserved recognition of the dedication and competence of the Department’s staff. This achievement not only improves the quality of laboratory services but also strengthens the confidence of patients and partners in the examination and treatment process. The hospital will maintain and continuously improve its system to meet the high-quality testing demand better.

Prof. Dr. Le Van Quang also expressed appreciation and high regard for the support provided by the Bureau of Accreditation in the process of standardizing the hospital’s laboratory systems.
