BUREAU OF ACCREDITATION PARTICIPATES IN APAC MRA PEER EVALUATION IN KYRGYZSTAN

Between February 17 and 21, 2025, the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) assigned Mrs. Duong Thach Quynh Hoa – Head of Technical Division 4 – to participate in a peer evaluation team under the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (APAC MRA) for the accreditation of inspection bodies in the Kyrgyz Center for Accreditation (KCA), the national accreditation body of Kyrgyzstan.

Accreditation bodies recognized under the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) will demonstrate their competence in accreditation activities in accordance with international standards, and also ensure consistency and mutual recognition among national accreditation systems. Furthermore, APAC peer evaluation is conducted by highly experienced and qualified experts.

BoA’s participation in this peer evaluation not only highlights Vietnam’s active role in regional and international accreditation activities but also contributes to elevating the position and credibility of the national accreditation system. Through such evaluations, the Bureau of Accreditation continues to expand international cooperation, share experience, and update accreditation tendency. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of accreditation activities in Vietnam in alignment with international standards.

The Bureau of Accreditation also reaffirms its commitment to fulfilling its social responsibilities through international evaluation and accreditation activities, supporting the capacity building and sustainable development of conformity assessment bodies in Vietnam.
