On May 10, 2025, the National Accreditation Bureau (BoA) held an internal training session themed: "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage and Measuring IT Application Effectiveness"

This initiative is part of BoA's 2025 plan to enhance the digital capabilities of its officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers, aiming for rapid adaptation to digital transformation trends and improved work efficiency through technology.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Director of BoA, emphasized that the application of artificial intelligence is not only an essential requirement in modernizing public administration but also a practical solution to reduce workloads, shorten dossier processing times, and enhance the overall efficiency of the accreditation system. BoA is progressively adapting to new technologies to meet the increasing demands of its professional activities and to serve clients faster and more effectively.

Dr. Tran Thi Thu Ha – Director of BoA delivers the opening speech at the training session.

A key highlight of this training was the introduction and hands-on practice with a specialized AI developed by the Commission for the Standards, Metrology and Quality of Viet Nam (STAMEQ)  – a pioneering solution specifically for the public administration sector, focused on efficient data governance, process automation, and increased work processing effectiveness. STAMEQ has integrated AI into its practical work, optimizing processing procedures, and improving productivity and decision-making capabilities. The use of this internal AI tool demonstrates technological mastery and affirms the pioneering role of the Committee and BoA in the digital transformation of high-quality administration.

Master Cao Van Huong, Deputy Chief of STAMEQ Office, directly led the training.

The main content of the training course included:

  • An overview of artificial intelligence (AI) and its application trends in public administration, quality management, and accreditation;
  • Guidance on using several common AI tools for data processing, information analysis, and work automation;
  • Methods for developing and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) in the implementation of information technology applications;
  • Ways to measure impact and improve work processes based on data obtained after technology application.
